Schools & College Operations Supervisor

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Schools & College Operations Supervisor involves overseeing the operational delivery of the Schools & College package in Aosta/Pila.

They are the team leader to the Schools & College Co-ordinators, both full time and part time, to assist with questions, support, and team welfare.

The Schools & College Operations Supervisor will receive the planning information from the Schools & College Planning Supervisor whom they will need to have a strong working relationship with.

They will meet and greet party leaders and clients daily and liaise with them to ensure that the week is running smoothly.

The Schools & College Operations Supervisor will motivate, support and monitor the Schools & College Co-ordinators ensuring they understand their role, responsibilities and are delivering the Interski product to the highest standards and will provide ongoing training throughout the season.

They will make visits to hotels and après ski events to ensure suppliers are happy and to ensure that Interski standards are being met and maintained.

The Schools & College Operations Supervisor will monitor the Schools & College WhatsApp group.

Supervisors are expected to remain available to both their team and clients at all times, primarily via phone, to provide support and guidance should any issues arise in resort—attending in person if the situation requires it, regardless of the time of day or night.

Given the seasonal nature of the role, team members are expected to work up to a five-month period with one scheduled day off per week. The workdays can be long and physically demanding, often in varying weather conditions. As such, we value individuals who demonstrate resilience, a positive mindset, and a proactive approach to maintaining their mental and physical wellbeing throughout the season.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meeting and greeting party leaders and clients daily and liaising with them all to ensure that the week is running smoothly
  • Motivating and supporting the Schools & College Co-ordinators
  • Monitoring the Schools & College Co-ordinators delivery and performance by checking in at hotels and attending ad hoc party leader welcome meetings, group welcome meetings, snowsports school presentations and spot check on hotel boards etc.
  • Attendance of at least one evening après events
  • To monitor the Schools & College WhatsApp group

REQUIREMENTS

  • EU Passport or Right to Work in Italy (e. Permesso di Soggiorno) – ESSENTIAL
  • Criminal Record Disclosure / DBS / Police Check - ESSENTIAL
  • Team leader experience – ESSENTIAL
  • Over 21 years old – DESIRABLE
  • Driver’s licence & willingness to drive manual vehicles in resort (2 seater/5 seater/9 seater) – ESSENTIAL
  • Fluent in English - ESSENTIAL
  • Conversational Italian – DESIRABLE

CONTRACTOR PACKAGE

  • Contribution towards travel expenses at the start and end of the contract
  • Training programme delivered at the start of the contract
  • Accommodation (shared room in shared apartment or hotel)
    • Option to live out and an allowance of £400.00 per month offered
  • Meals (lunch provided during the season)
  • Uniform (ski jacket, ski trousers, gilet and polo shirts)
  • Lift Pass
    • Aosta/Pila team members will receive a season pass for Pila, Crevacol & Cogne
    • If required to work in another resort, a daily or 5 day lift pass will be provided
  • Equipment (skis/poles/boards/boots if required)
  • Insurance (travel, medical and public liability) – depending on nationality
  • One day off per week
  • On snow training offered ad hoc over the season
  • Pre-agreed time off during the season (non-peak weeks only)
  • Team Engagement Programme (contractor of the month and social events)
  • Competitive wages of £1700.00 pcm working on a contractor basis

WHERE YOU CAN DO THIS ROLE

Our full time Schools & College School Operations Supervisor is contracted to work in the Aosta Valley, Italy and work carried out in Aosta/Pila with ad hoc requirements to work in our other resorts of La Thuile, Courmayeur and Gressoney.
