ROLE DESCRIPTION
Our Holidays Supervisor is responsible for the operational planning and delivery of our Ski Holidays product which incorporates adult & family groups, solo travellers & corporate groups. The Holidays Supervisor will need to work closely with the Holidays Supervisor in the other resort.
The Holidays Supervisor will complete the operational planning by reviewing and cross checking Resort Reports, creating arrival and departure letters, and preparing the lunch vouchers and lift pass requests and will plan the week rota for the La Thuile team helping the team to understand the roles and requirements per week.
They may be required to meet and collect the clients from the airports (Turin, Milan Malpensa and/or Geneva) or meet the clients once they arrive in resort. Once in resort, the Holidays Supervisor will deliver a welcome meeting and will assist or arrange for the ski fit process to be completed.
The Holidays Supervisor will be on hand during the week to ensure that the clients are enjoying their holiday and will be able to assist with any questions, queries or any issues that arise.
REQUIREMENTS
- EU Passport or Right to Work in Italy (e. Permesso di Soggiorno) – ESSENTIAL
- Criminal Record Disclosure / DBS / Police Check - ESSENTIAL
- Team leader experience – DESIRABLE
- Over 21 years old – DESIRABLE
- Driver’s licence & willingness to drive manual vehicles in resort (2 seater/5 seater/9 seater) –ESSENTIAL
- Fluent in English - ESSENTIAL
- Conversational Italian – DESIRABLE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete the operational planning of reviewing and cross checking Resort Reports, creating arrival and departure letters, preparing lunch vouchers and lift passes and arranging the pre-fit of the equipment
- Complete airport transfers from/to Turin, Milan Malpensa, and Geneva airports
- Meet and greet clients upon their arrival into resort and deliver a welcome meeting
- Assist and complete ski fit for arriving clients
- Allocation of rental wear if booked (ski jacket and ski trousers)
- Being on hand in resort to check in with the clients to ensure that everything is running smoothly in resort. Troubleshooting and finding solutions to any issues that arise during the week
- Ensuring a smooth departure process (preparing for check out, understanding shower arrangements for after skiing on the final day, early departure meals etc)
- In La Thuile, the team will be responsible for rescue / on call cover, during the evening, on a rotation basis plus assisting with Resort Assistant duties throughout the season
- Providing 10/10 customer care from the moment the clients arrive in resort until the moment they leave resort

STAFF PACKAGE
- Contribution towards travel expenses at the start and end of the contract

- La Thuile staff will receive a season pass for La Thuile & La Rosiere
- If required to work in another resort, a daily or 5 day lift pass will be provided

- Competitive wages of £1700.00 pcm working on a contractor basis

Our full time Holidays & Resort Assistant Supervisors is employed to work in the Aosta Valley, Italy for most part carrying out the work in La Thuile & Courmayeur with ad hoc requirments to work in Aosta/Pila & Gressoney.
