ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Ski Hire Co-ordinator oversees the running of Interski’s Ski Hire by doing planning tasks as well as operational tasks.
On a planning front, the Ski Hire Co-ordinator will allocate ski and boot ockers and print the Interski Cards. They will also organise the pre-fit of the equipment for all of the clients, both for the Schools & College brand and well as for the Ski Holidays (adults, families, groups) brand.
On an operational front, they will open, and close ski hire on a daily basis and complete all the required daily and weekly tasks. They will also need to monitor stock levels in the Pila storeroom and carry out a stock take on a weekly basis and restock as necessary.
They will work closely with the Resort Assistants and Resort Assistant Supervisor.
The Ski Hire Co-ordinator will need to hold a Ski Tech qualification as equipment will need to be waxed and serviced. We will be able to recommend companies who offer a suitable course.
REQUIREMENTS
- EU Passport or Right to Work in Italy (e. Permesso di Soggiorno) – ESSENTIAL
- Criminal Record Disclosure / DBS / Police Check - ESSENTIAL
- Ski Technician Qualification - ESSENTIAL
- Over 21 years old –ESSENTIAL
- Driver’s licence & willingness to drive manual vehicles in resort (2 seater/5 seater/9 seater) –ESSENTIAL
- Fluent in English - ESSENTIAL
- Willingness to learn Italian/French (Aosta Valley)– DESIRABLE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Ski Hire Co-ordinator will review weekly operational requirements and will allocate lockers for clients, both from the Schools & College market as well as the Ski Holidays market, taking into consideration that pre-fits need to be completed therefore the lockers cannot be allocated the previous week
- Print out the Interski Client Cards
- Review upgraded ski requirements
- Prepare documentation for the pre fit of equipment
- Open and close ski hire on a daily basis and complete daily and weekly tasks
- Monitor stock levels in the Pila storeroom and carry out a stock check and restock as necessary
- Rotation and service of equipment (skis and boots)

STAFF PACKAGE
- Contribution towards travel expenses at the start and end of the season
- Training programme delivered at the start of the season
- Accommodation (maximum twin share in a hotel or apartment)
- Option to live out and an allowance of £400.00 per month offered

- Lift Pass
- Aosta/Pila staff will receive a season pass for Pila, Crevacol & Cogne
- If required to work in another resort, a daily or 5 day lift pass will be provided

- Insurance (travel, medical and public liability)
- One day off per week
- On snow training offered ad hoc over the season
- Pre-agreed time off during the season (non-peak weeks only) to attend snowsports courses

Our full time Ski Hire Co-ordinator is employed to work in the Aosta Valley, Italy and work carried out in Aosta/Pila with ad hoc requirements to work in Courmayeur, La Thuile & Gressoney.
