Holidays Co-ordinator

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Holidays Co-ordinator is responsible for the delivery of our Ski Holidays product which incorporates adult & family groups, solo travellers & corporate groups working closely with their line manager, the Holidays Supervisor.

They will look after clients staying in up to 8 hotels which are based in Aosta town centre and in the resort of Pila.

The Holidays Co-ordinator will assist with the operational planning and will ensure that they understand their schedule for the week. Operational planning tasks may include preparing arrival and departure letters, preparing lunch vouchers and lift passes and preparing equipment for pre-fit.

They may be required to meet and collect the clients from the airports (Turin, Milan Malpensa and/or Geneva) or meet the clients once they arrive in resort. Once in resort, the Holidays Co-ordinator will deliver a welcome meeting and will assist or arrange for the ski fit process to be completed.

The Holidays Co-ordinator will be on hand during the week to ensure that the clients are enjoying their holiday and will be able to assist with any questions, queries or any issues that arise. On certain weeks of the season there are low Holiday client numbers and when this occurs the Holidays Co-ordinator will assist to Resort Assistant team with their roles and duties.

REQUIREMENTS

  • EU Passport or Right to Work in Italy (e. Permesso di Soggiorno) – ESSENTIAL
  • Criminal Record Disclosure / DBS / Police Check - ESSENTIAL
  • Over 21 years old – DESIRABLE
  • Driver’s licence & willingness to drive manual vehicles in resort (2 seater/5 seater/9 seater) – ESSENTIAL
  • Fluent in English - ESSENTIAL
  • Willingness to learn Italian/French (Aosta Valley) – DESIRABLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with the operational planning of reviewing and cross checking Resort Reports, creating arrival and departure letters, preparing lunch vouchers and lift passes and arranging the pre-fit of the equipment
  • Complete airport transfers from/to Turin, Milan Malpensa, and Geneva airports
  • Meet and greet clients upon their arrival into resort and deliver a welcome meeting
  • Assist and complete ski fit for arriving clients
  • Allocation of rental wear in Italy (ski jacket and ski trousers)
  • Being on hand in resort to check in with the clients to ensure that everything is running smoothly in resort. Troubleshooting and finding solutions to any issues that arise during the week
  • Ensuring a smooth departure process (preparing for check out, understanding shower arrangements for after skiing on the final day, early departure meals etc)
  • Providing 10/10 customer care from the moment the clients arrive in resort until the moment they leave resort.

  • Experience with using Microsoft Excel, Word and quick to learn our bespoke CRM

STAFF PACKAGE

  • Contribution towards travel expenses at the start and end of the season
  • Training programme delivered at the start of the season
  • Accommodation (maximum twin share in a hotel or apartment)
    • Option to live out and an allowance of £400.00 per month offered
  • Meals (lunch provided during the season)
  • Uniform (ski jacket, ski trousers, gilet and polo tops)
  • Lift Pass
    • Aosta/Pila staff will receive a season pass for Pila, Crevacol & Cogne
    • If required to work in another resort, a daily or 5 day lift pass will be provided
  • Equipment (skis/poles/boards/boots if required)
  • Insurance (travel, medical and public liability)
  • One day off per week
  • Pre-agreed time off during the season (non-peak weeks only) to attend snowsports courses
  • Staff Engagement Programme (employee of the month and social events)
  • Competitive wages of £1000.00 pcm working on a contractor basis

WHERE YOU CAN DO THIS ROLE

Our full time Holidays Co-ordinators is employed to work in the Aosta Valley, Italy and work carried out in Aosta/Pila with ad hoc requirements to work in Courmayeur, La Thuile & Gressoney.
